Staff Sgt. Andrew Goncalves goes back and forth between the bass and guitar during a 1st Infantry Division Band recital March 28 at the band’s headquarters at Fort Riley, as Sgt. 1st Class Robert Davidson plays the drums.  The two were part of a trio that played a variety of jazz selections.  The band is set to host regular recitals at the end of every month.  For more information on the recitals, follow the 1st Inf. The jazz combo quartet was one of four different ensemble groups – which also included a brass ensemble, a quintet and four members of the 1st Inf.
