Spc. Amanda DiClerico, 1st Inf. Div. Band, plays her tenor trombone July 10 in the band’s headquarters building. DiClerico has only been with the band for a few weeks, but she has been playing the instrument since she was 11. “I come from a very military-oriented town,” said the Virginia Beach, Va., native. “The Army, the Marines and the Navy have their school of music there, so I’ve studied with various military musicians throughout my life. I knew coming out of college that was something I’d like to do as well.”
