Lt. Col. Thomas Hipskind, commander, Division Headquarters and Headquarters Battalion, 1st Infantry Division, returns a salute June 12 to 1st Sgt. Brandon McGuire during a farewell ceremony at the Commanding General’s Mounted Color Guard headquarters at Fort Riley.  McGuire recently relinquished responsibility of the CGMCG to a new senior noncommissioned officer, 1st Sgt. James Trunck.  McGuire served with the 1st Battalion, 28th Infantry Regiment, 4th Infantry Brigade Combat Team, 1st Inf. Div., before serving in the CGMCG.  Trunck previously served in the 1st Sustainment Brigade, 1st Inf. Div.
