Sgt. Casey Simmons, CGMCG, competes in the combat horsemanship event Sept. 19 at Fort Riley’s Artillery Parade Field as part of the U.S. Cavalry Association’s National Cavalry Competition. This was Simmons’ first year competing, participating as a level I rider. He placed first in mounted sabre and second in combat horsemanship.
