Spc. Joshua H. Reeves, 26, died of wounds suffered when an improvised explosive device detonated near his vehicle Sept. 22 in Baghdad.

Reeves was an infantryman assigned to 2nd Battalion, 16th Infantry Regiment, 4th Infantry Brigade Combat Team, 1st Infantry Division. His home of record is Watkinsville, Ga.

He entered the Army in February 2005 and arrived at Fort Riley in July 2005. This was his first deployment in support of the Global War on Terrorism.

To date, 134 Fort Riley Soldiers and Airmen have been killed while serving in support of Operation Iraqi Freedom and Operation Enduring Freedom.
