The Soldier Family Assistance Center (SFAC) is a team of civilian employees appointed by the Garrison Commander to coordinate resources and act as a point of contact for Warriors and their Family members. The center is open to assist Soldiers assigned to the Warrior Transition Battalion (WTB). The center also assists the Family members of those Soldiers assigned to the Warrior Transition Battalion. The center's staff encourages Family members to contact them for assistance. The staff will attempt to answer any questions Family members may have during their stay.
The Soldier Family Assistance Center directly provides a variety of services on-site. In addition the center serves as a clearing house and referral source for a wide spectrum of information and services that can be of significant benefit to the Warrior Transtion Service members and their Families.
Core SFAC Functions
The purpose of the Soldier Family Assistance Center (SFAC) is to provide compassionate, coordinated services to Soldiers and their Family members. The following services are either specifically provided by the center directly to the Warrior Transtion Service members and their Families, or coordinated by the staff with Garrison and other agencies.
