This year, the Hiring
Heroes Career Fair will be from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. April 23 at Riley’s Conference
Center, located at 446 Seitz Drive. There will be more than 75 employers
interested in hiring Soldiers.
The event will be a great
opportunity to network with employers from the Department of Defense, other
federal agencies and private sector firms with positions available. Wounded, ill,
injured and transitioning service members, veterans, their spouses and primary
caregivers are all welcome to attend.
A mobile site will be
available to those interested in applying for federal positions. Along with the
mobile site, Army Career and Alumni Program staff will be readily available to
assist with federal job applications via www.usajobs.gov.
The event is a great
opportunity for those wanting to start their careers in the private sector or
federal government. Making connections and networking with employers at this event
will help in the interview process and future employment. For more information,
