Armed Forces Voter’s week set for June 30 to July 7

By SPECIAL TO THE POST | June 23, 2014

Armed Forces Voter’s week is June 30 through July 7. This is an Army-wide Voting Emphasis Week, designed to inform and encourage eligible citizens to register to vote prior to the General Election Nov. 4.

This year, the Installation Voter’s Assistance Officer will have two voter registration tables June 30 and July 2 on Fort Riley.

A registration table will be set up June 30 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Main Exchange and July 2 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Mini Mall, Building 6914 on Custer Hill.

The tables will provide multiple informational sheets and forms needed for voter registration. Voting assistance officers will answer any questions and provide assistance with filling out the Federal Post Card Application, or FPCA.

For more information, Soldiers can contact their unit voting assistance representative or visit to locate their closest voting assistance office.
