The Family Advocacy Program (FAP) provides prevention training to Commanders, Soldiers and Family members on Fort Riley. This program provides a variety of community education programs and Community Special Event month programs.
Our caring staff provides education for professionals, parent education programs, security clearances, Child Safety education, Respite Care services, Family Life Enrichment programs, New Parent Support services, and Transitional Compensation benefits upon eligibility. Our Victim Advocate Program services are available 24/7/365 for victims of domestic violence.
Fort Riley's Family Advocacy Program manager is the Point of Contact for Domestic Violence and New Parent Support Program contracts, Memorandums of Agreements, briefing and training requests related to the program services. The manager also assists Social Work Services at Irwin Army Community Hospital in monitoring program support for individuals, Families, marital, parenting and group counseling services.
