The Army Family Advocacy Program's (FAP) mission is responsible for addressing domestic violence and child abuse and neglect. Army Regulation 608-18 sets out the program requirements for each Army Installation.
A wide range of programs and services are available that enhance individual and Family functioning, as well as mission readiness and quality of life. The program consists of identification, reporting, treatment, and follow-up of cases. Services offered include community education/awareness, primary prevention to support parenting and family communications, crisis intervention, emergency shelter, victim advocate program, counseling and home visitation services by Master level Social Workers.
