Mission Statement
Fort Riley's Army Community Service will provide first class services and support to Soldiers, Families, and Army civilian employees that enhance readiness, improve quality of life and increases well-being.
What We Do
Our Staff provides information and Family service/programs necessary to support those we assist in meeting the unique demands of the military lifestyle by improving their skills through fostering competencies and coping skills, by encouraging self-sufficiency and by offering short-term support and assistance when necessary.
The staff collaborates and coordinates with other elements of the installation Family support systems and civilian agencies to ensure maximum resource use. We assist commanding officers, Installation Commanders and Military Members in meeting the installation and operational mission requirements consistent with the Department of Defense Directive by: addressing the impact of Family issues and specific needs upon military readiness and by monitoring the impact of the military requirements on Family well-being.
Our primary goal is to be the principle source of assistance and support to Families during times of local or national emergency, mobilization, large-scale deployment or evacuation by ensuring adequate resources are available to provide comprehensive services within close proximity to the Families, other support activities, with furnishing and ambiance consistent with a warm Family atmosphere designed to accommodate Families.
