CLOSURES and DELAYS

The following scheduled road closures and expected traffic delays are due to ongoing road repair. Please allow more time in your travels or avoid these areas during these periods.

Tuttle and Thomas Avenues to be closed - Beginning Tuesday, May 28 portions of Tuttle Avenue from Ewell Street west and Thomas Avenue from Hampton Place east will be closed to through traffic until mid-August 2013, as weather and other conditions allow. This closure is part of the demolition and construction project in the Warner Peterson Neighborhood. Detour signs will be in place. Access to the Youth Center will only be available from Thomas Avenue during this time. Please direct all questions regarding this partial street closure to Corvias Military Living at 785-717-2200.

June 17 through July 5: The Roads Maintenance Contractor will mill, patch and overlay Huebner Rd, from Dickman Avenue to the Ogden Gate. Traffic will be reduced to one lane periodically on Huebner during this time. This could produce traffic delays during peak traffic periods. Recommend the use of alternate routes during this time frame. Please observe the construction warning signs, pilot vehicle and Traffic Control personnel.

Rifle Range, Trooper intersection to close for roundabout work - Trooper Drive traffic will be diverted to a bypass lane.

Commercial vehicles to use 12th Street gate - Anyone operating a commercial vehicle must use designated access control points to gain entry to post.
