I Know How It Feels campaign
In late 2012, the 1st Infantry Division launched the "I Know How It Feels" campaign. This new effort is designed to show Soldiers, Family members and Civilians throughout our formation that they are not alone in their struggles, others who stand to their left and right have been in their shoes and know how they feel. Posters featuring Big Red One Soldiers, Civilians and Family members discussing their own personal struggles and what they did to overcome their challenges are being distributed throughout the formation. The poster files are also available here* on the Fort Riley website where they will be accessible and printable at all times. Posters are installation-specific to meet the needs of our teammates not only at Fort Riley but also at Fort Sill, Fort Knox and Fort Leonard Wood. When downloading the posters*, please ensure you are downloading the ones that include your installation's information.
We look forward to sharing many more stories of strength and resilience during the coming weeks. If you have a story you would like to share as part of the campaign, please contact Division Public Affairs Office, at 785-239-6821.
