541st Combat Sustainment Support Battalion

Welcome to the 541st Combat Sustainment Support Battalion.

The battalion is comprised of five separate units. The units include 1st Maintenance Company, 24th Transportation Company, 165th Movement Control Team, 266th Movement Control Team, and Headquarters and Headquarters Company, 541st CSSB (which includes 2nd Heavy Truck Platoon, 2nd Transportation Company). Each unit is a non-divisional asset with its own unique mission. Each of these units provides daily mission support to the installation, while maintaining a high state of readiness for deployment.

Lt. Col. William Cain Jr., commander, 541st Combat Sustainment Support Battalion, 1st Sustainment Brigade, 1st Infantry Division, passes a saber from Command Sgt. Maj. Bryan Witzel to Command Sgt. Maj. Evanglish Thomas during a change of responsibility ceremony April 29 at the Custer Hill Parade Field. The passing of the saber signifies a change of the unit’s senior non-commissioned officer.
