Welcome to the home of the 299th Brigade Support Battalion within the 2nd Brigade/1st Infantry Division.

The 299th Brigade Support Battalion was constituted on 23 March 1966 in the Regular Army as the 7th Support Battalion and assigned to the 199th Separate Infantry Brigade at Fort Benning, GA.

On 30 November 2012, volunteers from 299th Brigade Support Battalion visited Enterprise Elementary to take part in their Freak-Out Friday event. Enterprise Elementary is partnered with the Lifeline Battalion, and this is one of the events we support the school in throughout the year. Volunteers improved their arts and crafts skills by helping the students make reindeer puppets out of construction paper, paper bags, glue, and puff balls. Volunteers included: PV2 Proctor, PFC Martinez, SPC Bishop, SPC Flowers, SPC Hedlund, SPC Real, SPC Schultz, SGT Pelz, and 2LT Blake.

Fort Leavenworth interagency students visit ‘Lifeline’ Soldiers to gain perspective
