The side from the 601st Aviation Support Battalion, 1st Combat Aviation Brigade, 1st Infantry Division took the Victory Week Soccer title with a 7-3 win over the squad from 1st Battalion, 16th Infantry Regiment, 1st Armored Brigade Combat Team, 1st Infantry Division, “Iron Rangers” on June 11.  The win was keyed by a three-goal performance by Spc. Edelson Noel.  The hat-trick helped break up a tight match that featured a 2-2 deadlock midway through the first half.  Though the Iron Rangers placed second in soccer, they did place first in overall points for Victory Week and garnered the Commander’s Cup trophy.

Spc.
