Routine Dental Care

By | DENTAC | January 06, 2011

Routine dental care is given for conditions, which are not urgent or emergency in nature, and include periodic examinations, teeth cleaning, specialty referrals and other appointments. Routine care normally begins with the patient reporting to their assigned dental clinic during posted hours for an examination, development of a treatment plan and establishment of their first appointment.

Routine Examinations and Follow-Up Care

Each active duty Soldier receives a dental examination upon arrival. The results of this examination are recorded on a Dental Readiness Roster and distributed to unit commanders. Appointments for follow-up care can be made as necessary.
